Game Learning Announces New Partnership with Reading is Fundamental
Since the launch of our educational video game company just a months ago, the team of educational entrepreneurs at Game Learning have been busy forging valuable partnerships with wonderful organizations.
In effort to bring Game Learning educational video games and graphic novels to as many young people as possible, we are thrilled to announce that Game Learning’s graphic novels, “The Road to Revolution” and “The Lost Colony” are both available for free from Reading is Fundamental (www.rif.org). As the leading voice for children’s literacy, Reading is Fundamental was founded in 1966 and has built a legacy grounded on the basis that children have the right to learn to read. In partnership with volunteers, companies, and community organizations, RIF has distributed over 415 million books, and impacted the lives of more than 40 children nationwide. More information about RIF’s impact here.
”Game Learning is thrilled to be one of the aforementioned companies helping RIF to provide reading material to children.
Our graphic novel, “The Road to Revolution” invites young readers to experience events that sparked the Revolutionary War, live through the calamities that would lead colonists to all-out war with the British Empire, and see the events of the Boston Massacre, Boston Tea Party, and Paul Revere’s famous ride unfold through the eyes of those who were there. Click here to read the eBook, on RIF’s website.
Likewise, Game Learning’s graphic novel, “The Lost Colony” is available at no charge on the Reading is Fundamental website. “The Lost Colony” teaches young people all about the attempt (and ultimate failure) to settle a colony at Roanoke. Readable on a computer, tablet or mobile device, “The Lost Colony” can be read by clicking here.
At Game Learning, we know that when kids are having fun while learning, they tend to absorb information better. We also know that when learning is fun, kids are naturally interested in learning more. Our graphic novels and accompanying educational video games aim to provide the fun, inherent in history lessons.
”We are grateful to Reading is Fundamental for helping us to make these free, educational graphic novels accessible to all.
